old binutils releases?

      versions at all.  Is there a cvs archive available of the
      changes from 2.9.1 though the current archive?

   No, I'm afraid not.  When we moved to sourceware, we lost the old
   CVS history.

Ouch.  Will there be a fresh binutils fsf release soon then in order
to resync?
