Nope, but it hints to some way to investigate the problem.  Please
remove ld/.libs/lt-ld-new, add `-x' after `#! /bin/sh' in ld/ld-new
and try again.  It indeed seems that ld/ld-new is not linking
ld/.libs/lt-ld-new properly (maybe it's invoking the gcc under
construction to do it?), but we should find out why, not just paper
over the problem.
