GNU ld on Solaris/x86?

I just built/checked binutils from Sourceware on Solaris 2.7/x86
today. Of course, I was using my binutils to build. I do have
some patches to ld. But I doubt they make any differences on
Solaris 2.7/x86.

What kind of error did you get?
