Fix for leftover COFF debugging symbols

Hi Nick,

I don't have write access so could you install this please? I know I've been 
keeping you busy lately, so try and leave you alone for a while. Unless of 
course I find another bug <g>.

Thanks. Only problem is, the thrill of the hunt a lot more fun coming up with 
a the actual fix, but that's the way it goes. Oh well.
