   hello-
       I was wondering if anyone knew what emualtion modes are supported by
   binutils-2.9.1.0.19a.  
       (I am currently trying to install glibc 2.1.  I have
   binutils-2.9.5.0.21 which supports only armelf_linux, armelf_linux26,
   and armelf emulations.  I need to support elf32arm.)
       Please let me know.  Thanks in advance for your time.  

In the context of the binutils, an emulation is a linker emulation.

There is no elf32arm linker emulation in the binutils sources.  There
is only an armelf emulation.

Are you looking for ARM ELF support?  You should be able to find that
in any recent binutils.
