gprof won't build with cc on DU4

   When we make changes, we add our own copyright.  If the changes are
   significant, probably we should add a GNU copyright notice.

We could do that, I suppose.  It seems strange to me to add a new
copyright to the BSD code.  After all, it's their code.  We should be
polite.
