Only gdb input/output during a test run

Is there a way to only see gdb input/output when running a test

I currently use:

    make check RUNTESTFLAGS='namespace.exp --debug'

Then grep through testsuit/gdb.log.

cat testsuit/gdb.log | grep \(gdb\) is close
