I don't see any XSLT syntax mistakes (besides the missing "></xsl:stylesheet>"
at the end). Sure, he could use empty tags for xsl:variable and xsl:value-of
but this is no mistake.
Like Michael Kay said the problem is that Microsoft WD-xsl syntax is expected
therefore the xsl:choose isn't recognized.
