| nodeParent.replaceChild xmlDocNew.documentElement, nodeToReplace
| you are inserting the document element under the parent not a new node
I changed my code from this:
nodeParent.replaceChild xmlDocNew.documentElement, nodeToReplace
to this:
Set nodeDesired = xmlDocNew.documentElement.cloneNode(True)
nodeParent.replaceChild nodeDesired, nodeToReplace
.. and that got it working as desired, so I can then use nodeDesired, and
have its parent be nodeParent. :)
