Hi Marc,
I'm not sure if you mean this:
<parent_node>
....
<child_node>....</child_node>
....
</parent_node>
This XSL template:
<xsl:template match="parent_node[child_node]">
.......
</xsl:template>
will be applied only to those parent_nodes having child_nodes.
