The example given is trivial, of course, but it can get hairier. I noticed this
with a few of the system calls. In particular, syscall.compat_utime calls
ctime(), which wasn't marked pure (though it should be). Then the argstr
sprintf with a ctime() parameter was not being elided, and so it could not elide
any of the other parameters either. Thus, even though I was not using any of
the probepoint variables, it had to compute all of them.
