It is certainly possible to change the page protections on the fly as needed,
but it may make probe insertion and removal too costly. kprobes maintainers
should experiment and measure that overhead. The other option is to change the
CONFIG_DEBUG_RODATA code to start protecting only from _etext and not _stext
when #ifdef CONFIG_KPROBES.
