Hello,
I'm sorry for the late answer, i taught I'd receive an email when a comment
would be posted. Although the language is recognized as being the mother tongue
of a majority of Moroccans
http://www.ethnologue.com/show_language.asp?code=ary, there's as of today no
standardization about how it should be written. Both Latin and Arabic scripts
being widespread throughout morocco we've designed a writing standard that can
be used either with Latin or Arabic characters, thus the @latin.
I know it can seem awkward but the only way I've found to give the user the
choice between the Arabic and the Latin script was to create two different
locals.
I haven't finished working on the Arabic local yet, as I'm primarily using the
Latin script, but the text is exactly the same it's only a mater of character
transposition.
Best,
Tariq
