Interesting logic.
* OK. Let's try to summarize problem once again.
1. We know now, that bug 3156 was misunderstanding, so
2. you should revert the last known good version (with no bug reports) of pl_PL
(1.18 or 1.17 with changes in LC_MONETARY)
3. After this, you can open your own bug report "Incorrect date and month
abbreviations in Polish locales" for example, or
4. maybe somebody else will open new bug report.
