it is the same programming that needs to be done, for POSIX/C
and TR 14652. Linux locales are built on 14652 technology.
the glibc/14652 locale is upwards compatible with POSIX/C in most
places.
The Linux main locales are the 14652 i18n locale, (or was it the other
way around - the 14652 locale was actually copied from the glibc default locale:-)
