Hi Uli, you added a check for a sed version 3.02: 2000-01-29 Ulrich Drepper <drepper@redhat.com> * configure.in: Add check for recent enough sed version. AC_CHECK_PROG_VER(SED, gsed sed, --version, [GNU sed version \([0-9]*\.[0-9.]*\)], [3.02], SED=: aux_missing=t) Which versions are broken? And what's the problem? Should we add the version of sed to glibcbug - and document the requirement in the INSTALL document? So far configure just reports this - but it has no consequences. Is this desired? IMO the check should be for 3.02 or newer: [3.0[2-9]|3.[1-9]*] Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger SuSE Labs aj@suse.de private aj@arthur.rhein-neckar.de
