Changes since v1:
- Add suffix to IA64 filenames.
- Add suffix to architecture-dependent w_sqrt filenames and adjust
#includes and Makefiles accordingly.
- Tested for powerpc32 multiarch.
- *No* changes have been made to the first 4 patches.
Again, these patches will be squashed before commit. I split them
just to ease review.
