I'm not changing the code for special cases (infinities / NaNs). But I'd
be happy to abandon the use of "Contributed by" lines in individual source
files altogether (stop putting them in new files, and maybe globally
remove them from existing files at least in the FSF-copyright cases) - as
files get modified by many people over time, and in some cases copied for
other targets, they become less and less accurate, and the version control
system, ChangeLogs and "Implemented by" / "Contributed by" lines in NEWS
for new features all serve to document the original authors of features
(for ones with implementations originating for glibc rather than copied
from elsewhere, anyway).
