I'm a bit puzzled what "blended" implementation should mean in this context.
Maybe you can elaborate your critique in some words so outstanding issues,
benchmarks and so on can be addressed without the need to wait for some
mysterious action from Intel, if ever?

PS: Yes I know the patch contains whitespace corruption, any critique beyond
what sed could not repair?
