hi there,
i noticed a post in the glibc list a few days ago where Bruno Haible
implented a fix to glibc to allow java to work under glibc-2.3.1... i
believe i can fix the sun sources, but i need a little help...
they seem to implement __libc_wait only one in their source code... does
anyone know of a more elegeant way to do what __libc_wait does? (it i
cannot find docs on these internal symbols)
btw j2sdk-1.4.1 does not suffer this problem, but they have not released
source code (and may not...)
any system using gcc-3.2 requires this fix in the java source so that
they may use the java plugin for mozilla, so i suppose this is quite
important... (unless glibc intend on keeping __libc_wait public? i
suspect you do not)
thanks in advance!
Sam
