Hi
I have updraded my version of glibc from 2.1.3-15 to the latest 2.2 version.
I am running RedHat 6.2 with kernel 2.2.16.
Is there anything else I need to recompile, since I get the following error
repeatedly:
joe: ../iconv/skeleton.c:297: gconv: Assertion outbufstart == ((void *)0)'
failed.
When I run `make check':
../malloc/mtrace tst-loading.mtrace > mtrace-tst-loading
perl: ../iconv/skeleton.c:297: gconv: Assertion tbufstart == ((void *)0)'
failed.
make[1]: *** [mtrace-tst-loading] Error 134
make[1]: Leaving directory /system/installed/glibc-2.2/iconvdata'
make: *** [iconvdata/tests] Error 2
Could this be a compiler error? (I'm using gcc: egcs 2.91.66 - egcs-1.1.2
release)
What can cause this error?
I'd appreciate it if someone can help me.
Thanx a lot!
