I'm not reading the Debian bug reports an their database.  If there is
a problem with tar in the way it uses fnmatch then I expect a report
coming from the tar maintainer and not some random user.  I'll not
spend a second verifying the claims.

If you think that tar behaves incorrectly then provide a test case.
