The patch seems not to be 100% ok.

Why do you do this? For PPCs the size of the uid_t and gid_t tpy ein
the kernel and userland is the same. Therefore you shouldn't need the
wrappers.
If this

fixes the problem it's fine.
Could someone give me a final analysis?
