Yes, I wanted to (re)write some test cases to see if I can come up with an
explicit test that I think is wrong (or not) on a current glibc & linux-kernel
combination. I'll try to get to that in the next few days, but if you're in
a hurry :-), I'm ok with closing this bug. The original tests were simple, so
I don't think those were broken, but it's quite possible the self-built glibc
had a misconfiguration, too.
If I find something, we can re-open this bug or open a new one with the
particular test case.
