What is the problem?
That looks like a problem on your side that has nothing to do with gdb
("Bad address" is EFAULT). Perhaps a bit flip due to bad memory.
From my experience, different version of "makeinfo" may cause similar problems.
You can try to use the "makeinfo" version specified in the header of existing
"*.info" files(in original downloaded gdb tar ball).
