There as a mistake in sim/ppc/ChangeLog were the diff was adding
a lot of entries. I fixed those, and then pushed your patch.

Your patch copied below for easy reference, but not extra comment
written, so no need to read further if not interested in the patch.
Attached is the patch I ended up pushing.
