Currently if you run the test suite with '-gdwarf-4', you will see a
number of regressions.
This patch series fixes most of the regressions.
I did not examine any of the Ada regressions as I do not know Ada or the
Ada code in GDB.
I believe one regression is actually a GCC bug:

I'd appreciate comments on the patches; I'll note in the individual
patch messages where I think the problems may lie.
