Which change? As far as I can tell, ending-run.exp was a HP contributed
test case that was added into the GDB testsuite tree when Cygnus merged
it back in 1998. I haven't seen anything in Cygnus snapshot versions
that might indicate a test case regression introduced later on by HP.
Since the HP WDB team does not work on remote debugging as much as other
developers do, IMO it's just part of the test evolution to extend it
to other platforms. BTW the patch looks fine.
