about libelf by example

Hi everyone,
We are trying to make an ELF file (using Mr. Koshy's Libelf By Example code)
on Fedora 13. However, after installing the headers and libelf, we are still
having some issues. For one, our computer doesn't seem to find where this
is:
elf_setshstrndx(e, elf_ndxscn(scn));
If we take this line out (to see if it was the only missing item in our
code), compile it and run it, we get that our code is unable to make an
executable ELF file, but it says that there are no error messages. Has
anyone had this issue in the past? Does anyone have any ideas on where we
can get this method or how to fix this?
