Yes, Catalogs is a wonderfull thing, I would very much like to see support
for that in the misc. browsers.
Without a cache, unintentional downloading of DTD can be a burden. Last
year I wrote a small perl script, which was cheking certain properties in
100+ SVG files. It was a bit slow, until I realised, that I was
downloading the DTD every time :-((( .
