BTW Ed, I just released libxml2-2.5.3/libxslt-1.0.26 , it should
fix the problem you had with XHTML serialization.

P.S.: there is also some Relax-NG suport but I'm not sure it's good
enough to play with the DocBook Relax-NG schemas
