This is probably good practice anyway. Not only for readability, but also
just to segment the ID namespace to avoid collisions. For instance, if you
have a chapter on filesystem hierarchies and a figure within that chapter,
it's easier if you have <chapter id="ch-hierarchy"> and <figure
id="fig-hierarchy">; you can use the obvious and intuitive name for an ID
without as many collisions. Just don't, as one major DocBook-based
publisher is wont, use <chapter id="ch1">. That's just wrong.
