Not true :)

I did find the install.pdf from "let-me-guess-now"
http://sourceforge.net/projects/jadetex

And the settings in the
/usr/share/texmf/web2c/texmf.cnf
I have are a factor of 5 to 50 larger than what is
specified in the document. Hence the problem still is
which parameter is controlling this:
