Hello Thomas! Hello All! On Thursday 23 October 2008 16:27:28 Thomas Petazzoni wrote: > While building the arm-unknown-linux-uclibcgnueabi sample, with ltrace > enabled, I get the following build failure: I never managed to make ltrace build correctly, partly because I don't have use of it. > [ALL ] checking gelf.h presence... no > [ALL ] checking for gelf.h... no > [ERROR] configure: error: ***** gelf.h not found ***** > [ERROR] Build failed in step 'Installing ltrace' I'm afraid that the culprit is not necessarily ltrace. If I remember correctly, libelf doesn't play nicely with cross-building... :-( Unfortunately, the latest libelf is 0.8.10, and is more than a year old now (20070907). I'll look at the Debian patchset for libelf. Also, they seem to be using ltrace-0.5 (when crosstool-NG still uses at best 0.4). I have a little time today, and I'll try to finally bang on libelf/ltrace hard enough to make it build. I'd appreciate it if you could also look into this... Regards, Yann E.
