it didnt come from Halcy0n, he just happens to have one of our glibc patchsets 
extracted in his home directory

if you really want, i can look into who actually wrote it ... i'm pretty sure 
it was either myself or another Gentoo dev i was working with at the time for 
cross-compiling NPTL stuff ...
