i apologize for not replying to the ongoing thread re: local patches but i don't have access to normal email at the moment, so i'm having to do this thru a browser. gack. as my final suggestion on this, i'd recommend allowing a user to bypass the normal patch directory entirely if that's not a big problem. you never know when some of the crosstool patches might simply be inappropriate depending on what someone is trying to do. perhaps something weird involving EABI or NPTL, for which the user wants *only* his (or her) patches applied. just a thought, if anyone thinks it's worth it. rday ------ Want more information?
