BTW I already have the patch Jim mentions, http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/patches/downloads/glibc/glibc-2.3.5-mips_syscall-1.patch in crostool as glibc-2.3.[45]/pr758.patch.
So there you have it - glibc-2.3.5 is supposed to work for mips64. Guess I should add it to the build matrix. - Dan

MIPS64 nptl is still a no go, Daniel Jacobowitz I know has been working on it.
Ah. So your patches are aimed at nptl on mips64?
Do you know what the status of glibc in general on mips64 is -
are any patches required to get a working linuxthreads/glibc/gcc toolchain?
There is only one patch required for MIPS64 builds. http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/patches/downloads/glibc/glibc-2.3.5-mips_syscall-1.patch
May I post your note to the crossgcc mailing list? That's the place to send if you want to keep the crosstool project in the loop, as others can fill in for me then if I am out of action.
Sure no problem. I'm part of the same group as Ryan Oliver. He's the one who mastered the build method we are using for cross-lfs. I'm the tweaker of the group.
