IIRC i saw this ICE in a (couple of weeks old) snapshot of gcc 4.1 also, i belive it was fixed. So i would suggesting fetching from cvs.

may i further suggest that using gcc 4.1 snapshots at this stage in the development cycle is a bad idea as its quite unstable.

Indeed. Actually, the last gcc 4.1 that built any cross toolchains was a
checkout from 20050604.
