Eventually I'd like to build glibc-2.3.3 w/ nptl support,
but I noticed that nptl isn't supported in rc34.  Is there
hope of nptl support being added to crosstool?

You bet. An Aussie who's been doing NPTL for LFS for a year or so is working on a patch. He sent a draft already; looks like it adds one more build of gcc. (This stuff just keeps getting more complicated with each release...) - Dan
