Yes. You need to download the latest snapshot of cygwin1.dll from http://cygwin.com/snapshots/cygwin1-20040510.dll.bz2 ...

Thanks - I'll try it and get back with the result...
Though with 0.28-rc13 (rc14?) the default configuration is gcc-3.4.0 and glibc 2.3.2, so I'll try that one. Moreover, I'm will add "java" to the languages...

rc14 isn't ready yet, don't try it. (I often privately upload several versions of an rc before I announce it; it helps me test at multiple sites.)

Caution: I never added Java fixes for ppc405's erratum 77!
See http://kegel.com/xgcc3/ppc405erratum77.html and
be very suspicious of threading problems on older ppc405 chips in java.
Mean time between failure is about 100 hours under stress,
so while you won't notice a problem casually, you would in
production.
