Um, I hate to burst your bubble, but gcc-3.0.3 support is available
*today*.  Why would anyone wait until April 1st?  April Fool's?

To the original poster: use the sources and patches found at
ftp.m17n.org:/pub/linux-sh/testing/ (the patch revision is denoted by
-n, use the latest n) and the instructions found at
crossgcc.billgatliff.com and you should be fine.
