Hello David. Thanks for your latest e-mail. You have been a great source of information. I found some header files that I believe are the correct ones, although I am not sure, and attempted to reconfigure the gcc compiler. Unfortunetely I have come up with following error: ../gcc-2.95.2/configure --target=$target --prefix=$prefix -v --with-headers=/proj/ICWS/gcc/vcomm-headers Configuring for a sparc-sun-solaris2.7 host. Created "Makefile" in /projects/ICWS/gcc/build-gcc using "mh-frag" ../gcc-2.95.2/configure: gcc: not found *** The command 'gcc -o conftest -g -O2 conftest.c' failed. *** You must set the environment variable CC to a working compiler. Here is the command line I used to execute the configure. ../gcc-2.95.2/configure --target=$target --prefix=$prefix -v --with-headers=/proj/ICWS/gcc/vcomm-headers Prior to executing the configure the following command lines were executed: target=m68k-coff prefix=/bar i=$prefix/bin Could this error be caused by incorrect headers?
