I encountered an other problem with the C++ compiler: If I use asm volatile ("mov r0, #10":::"r0"); I get : main.cpp: In function `void taskAfunction()': main.cpp:49: parse error before `::' Without telling what reg gets clobberd like asm volatile ("mov r0, #10"); works fine.
