I would certainly be interested in using a PowerPC wiggler directly from Linux. I am currently using the EST "wiggler" and Windows based debugger on a custom MPC850 board running Linux. The drawback is, however, that I can only effectivly debug my boot code. Once I hit the virtual memory environment of Linux I loose the ability to control the different regions of memory.
