The best advice I can offer is to go to the eCos web site, download all necessary files from the site or it's mirrors and follow the installation instructions. People have mentioned that gcc-2.95.1 has all the eCos dependencies in it so you could use that source instead of the gcc source files on the eCos site. I would still go with the eCos source for your first attempt. Post any errors or problems you have to the eCos list (and to the CrossGCC list if you think it is relevant).
