Re: egcs cross compiler with glibc-2.0.6


glibc should build OK, but newlib is the better choice for most embedded
applications because it is less of a memory hog and supports reentrancy.  Also
it's pretty simple to configure for custom hardware, only a handful of
low-level routines need to be customized to make it work.
