{} are _never_ special in an XPath expression, they have no meaning in
Xpath, and can only appear as part of a string literal.
{} do have menaing in some XSLT attributes but they always surround an
entire Xpath expression.
Here you want to concatenate 'type' with the value pf position() so
that is [@name=concat('type',position())]
