directly answering your question, I must say NO. The question is, what
you want to do.
> <xsl:template match="/">
> <script language="javascript">
> function test(strID)
> {
> <xsl:variable name="varID">
> strID
> </xsl:variable>
> alert('<xsl:value-of select="$varID"/>
> }
> </script>
> </xsl:template>
What you do here is correct (when you add '); at the end of alert() ).
But this has nothing to do with javascript, for XSLT it's only simple text.
