We're trying to build an HTML sidebar column of images using a stylesheet
(Xalan D10).
<a>
<xsl:attribute name="href"><xsl:value-of
select="mdul_code"/></xsl:attribute>
<img width="122" height="22" border="0">
<xsl:attribute name="name">/nam_<xsl:value-of select="mdul_code"/>
</xsl:attribute>
<xsl:attribute name="src">/sid_<xsl:value-of select="mdul_code"/>.gif
</xsl:attribute>
<xsl:attribute name="alt"><xsl:value-of select="mdul_label"/>
</xsl:attribute>
</img>
</a><br/>
But the result is whitespace between "</a>" and "<br/>" so that the images
are separated. We got around the problem with tables but I curious how to
avoid this from happening in other places. Usually we just put everything on
one line when building attributes which solves the problem - but not this
time.
