Looks like the following commit fixed this (tested against kernel 2.6.18-164.el5):

* runtime/stack-ppc.c (__stp_stack_print): Define STACK_FRAME_LR_SAVE,
STACK_FRAME_REGS_MARKER,STACK_FRAME_MARKER, etc.
